What to Expect

New Patients

The First Visit

A new patient visit includes a health history, Chiropractic exam, computerized spinal scans using digital infrared imaging technology, and precise x-rays if necessary. Any previous medical records including x-rays, MRI's, lab tests, etc. will be reviewed. The new patient visit requires approximately 60-90 minutes to complete.  The Doctors will then review and analyze your case.

The Care

On your second visit your Doctor will explain the results of your case, answer any questions, address concerns, and then begin your care.  Sometimes at the end of a visit you will rest for a short time and afterwards the Doctor will assess your nervous system once again to make sure you we have done our job.

On subsequent visits, you will receive a computerized spinal scan, be neurologically assessed and physically analyzed to determine how well you are doing before your care begins.

How Long

The goal of care is to stabilize the spine allowing injured nerves, muscles, and soft tissue to heal. Most patients achieve initial results within the first two to four weeks of care and continue to improve over the following weeks or months. Healing time varies and depends upon several factors including the age of the patient, the severity of any condition the patient has, the length of time the problem has been present and the natural healing potential of the individual.

Insurance

District Specific accepts most insurance plans and is a participating provider for many insurance companies.  We will determine for you your level of coverage.  We will process your claims and write insurance reports as needed. Self-Pay plans are also available if you do not have Chiropractic benefits.  Flexible fee schedules are available to you making payment as simple and comfortable as possible.
